Hey guys,


A lot of you don't know what's been going on with my life these past couple weeks so I will add a brief description here.

I've been in and out of hospital for a few reasons, some I won't say but one that's recently occurred was I was assaulted while I was at work. This meaning I haven't had the strength nor the willingness to come on as I used too, so I apologise for my recent inactivity. From then it had been coming to thought that it was time for me to go, but I gave myself a couple days to think about it. Today my girlfriend was also rushed to hospital, to respect privacy I won't go into any detail, but she is fine and well looked after. After that happened it was the nail in the coffin for me, I've got so much going on in my personal life now that I don't have time or the energy to keep this going any longer and I want to thank everyone that has helped me through my year of modding this amazing game again. Who knows, maybe when I have the time and things have calmed down, I could come back and carry on modding for you beautiful people, but as of now I am officially retiring as PR2 staff. It was a difficult decision to make, but I believe it is the best one.

Thank-you to the rest of then staff for giving me this chance and I apologise for not mentioning this on then staff discord before this (I'm on my phone, which I don't have discord on). You all do a fantastic job at keeping this game alive and I wish you all the best.


I'll be on and off PR2 for a while just to say hi and do a couple races but that's all I will be able to manage. Stay safe Ya'll and I will be seeing you around!

Keep the volume low

this site would get way lot more money if donating to this site, would get you a unique reward such as special access to a guild in pr2 that has a guild server or something..

Damn, I didn't think I'd see the day Jiggmin Village would be revived. I wasn't ever a member of the old forums but I had heard of them back during the prime of PR2. When I came back to the game years later and I found the site to be mysteriously shut down, I was bummed, but hearing about all this revival of the forums and PR2 (and even Motley Mondays!) under the wonderful bls1999 (I hope I got that part right, I haven't looked too much into these rebirths yet), damn, it gets me pumped.

I'm SuperDuperGuy123 on Kongregate, but I go by Shanic on Platform Racing 2.

I may not be around much, but I'm exited to see where all this is going! Hell yeah!

Since I've heard we are getting PR2 updates, I would suggest a couple of additions:

I've been presented with an opportunity... but I need input from you guys.

The story as it goes right now: I was really lucky to be able to decompile PR2 with a pretty obscure deobfuscator, but the same deobfuscator won't be able to handle Creation, JV Chat, or WotW.

The solution: The same company that makes the program that enabled me to decompile PR2 has graciously offered to let me purchase a higher-end version of their program that will decompile WotW and Creation for a significantly lower amount of money.

While this is great news, the program is still $55 and the offer expires very, very soon. Eternal and I have about $15 left in JV donations (after buying the VPS and the first program), meaning we would need to cough up about $40 collectively to come up with the funds to purchase this program. If you have the means to pledge to chip in a few bucks, that would help us out a lot. We'll be sure to credit you in future Motley Monday videos and add you to any perks we decide on in the future.

On the view priors thing for mods, certain characters don't display correctly.

Also, certain IP addresses do not display correctly either (IPv6).



And on the player searches (mod and normal) if you search for a user with ' in their name any characters after and ' are removed from the search box.
