If a level isn't on a profile I remember or on a campaign or ATB list, it can get pretty buried, but we have been gifted with a favorites list. And I want to know what some of your favorite levels are.
Post your favorite list here. What hidden gem went undiscovered? What classic level needs to be remembered? What new innovative level do people need to play?
I'm trying not to include levels that are on the ATB list or current campaign because they are easy to find.
This isn't a try my level thread, but including a level or two that you made is perfectly acceptable.
If possible, please include level name, level maker, and level code. You can get this info by clicking on the ? (more info) button on the level, then clicking the share level button.

Make offline level editing/importing to online happen. Convenient because if you don't have a connection temporarily or the server randomly goes down for maintenance you want to be able to still make levels. Second, a mobile app of level editing would be great. Third, a big one but mobile implementation of platform racing 2 for Android and IOS platforms.

I just installed a plugin called Ruffle on JV. This is a WIP by a team of very talented developers aiming to restore flash functionality to web browsers.
Since the plugin is still in its infancy, there are many things that don't work properly. This thread has a rundown of what works and what doesn't. I'll continue to update it as new builds of Ruffle are added to the site; however, since it would be extremely tedious for me to go back and examine every game after every new Ruffle release, please check on your favorite games every now and then to see if the functionality has changed from my notes.

General Notes- No multiplayer games work. You can follow the status of the AS2 XMLSocket class implementation here. (Edit: socket has been implemented but the games are still broken, not sure why at the moment)
- Opening links from the game will sometimes cause the game to become unresponsive when returning.
- Right-click menus have added Ruffle elements.
- All tests are done on a Mac/Chromium environment.
Games that run flawlessly:
Games that have only some minor graphical/sound glitches:- Neverending Light – artifacts around light beams, text cut off the end of one of the subtitles, lag between graphics and sound in some places
Games that can be completed, despite major graphical/sound glitches:- Red Earth II – animations/sounds remain in a heavy loop, graphical decay occurs
- Beat Master 3000 – there's a pretty heavy desync across sound channels (i.e., sound effects and music)
Games that can't be completed but can still be played:
Games that don't work at all:
Updates- 16 Jan 2021: Red Earth's textures have been fixed.
- 17 Jan 2021: All high-scores submissions work now! Orbit has been upgraded to "works flawlessly."
- 28 Jan 2021: Sound support has been improved! The "Uber" games work great and BM3K actually starts now.
- 18 Apr 2022: Uber Pool and Rolley Ball now work flawlessly. Uber Breakout 2 no longer freaks out on the opening screen.
- 25 Apr 2022: Added some links to the Ruffle GitHub repo for status tracking.
- 20 Jan 2023: Graphics update! The menu in Kimblis the Blue now displays correctly, and the errors in Red Earth and TGoD are gone. All 3 now work flawlessly. Also, many of the Jiggmin.com intro screens now display properly.
- 2 Mar 2023: Cooties now works flawlessly! All AS2 games now have mobile keyboard support. I also added a message above every game on this site explaining Ruffle and linking to this thread. TadTad will love this one :)
- 11 Mar 2023: Mines has been upgraded to works flawlessly! Turns out the visual bug that was listed was present in the original SWF.
- 7 Jun 2025: AS3 support is here! I added all AS3 games to the list and updated the status on some (Uber Breakout 2 works flawlessly after I fixed a bug with the minigame not submitting the score correctly).
- 18 Apr 2026: the Great Red Herring Chase has been upgraded to works flawlessly!

What's sup, everybody. So apparently I'm noticing a lot of people surpass ?? in F@H points, and I was actually thinking about tagging along to show support. But here's the problem... I don't know exactly what graphics card I need to be able to fold crazy amounts of points everyday because the last thing I want is to be folding anything less than at least 500k.
So if any of the best and fastest folders on here, wants to give me a little run around as to what graphics cards I need to be able to fold a gargantuan amount of points, and what prices I'm going to be running into, give me a shoutout. Just give me a range from cheapest to most expensive, and more like what the folding points per WU would result in, if I were to get a certain graphics card.
Oh and let me know what computer you're running as well, so I'll know what to get and what not to get!

I think there might be a thread of it already, but shouldn't there be a use of the guilds? A leaderboard with most gps earned total, and other cool features? A Guild shop, where the leader/co owners, could spend Gps, which affect the whole guild? Like As an example, 100.000 Guild Points, could give a set for the whole guild. Or Like 10.000 Guild Points, for a rank token for a month? Something like that? Other feature could also be cool, but I think Guilds need something. Ohh and last thing I would like to point out. When Gps is spent, it will of course remove the gps, but there should be a place, where you can see Total earned Gps <3

Welcome to Speedrunner of the Week, a contest tailored for the fastest players in Platform Racing 2! We have the racers, the fast racers, and those who are above them all: Speedrunners. Do you have what it takes to become a Speedrunner?
? How does it work? ? - Each week a new level is given a target time and expert time for contestants to beat. If you complete the target time you get 1 point added onto your total score. If you are super speedy and also manage to complete the expert time you will gain 1 extra point, bringing your total to 2 just from beating the set times.
- You can also gain points if you place in a podium spot against your competitors: if you set the fastest time that week you will gain 3 points, if you come in with the second fastest time you will get 2 points, and if you set the third fastest time you will get 1 extra point. Make note however, you will only be granted these podium points if you have beaten the target time.
- Submissions will close on Sunday 12:00AM EDT. Be sure to convert this time into your own timezone if necessary to avoid any late submissions!
? Rules: ? - Any runs that have been posted after the submission date will not be counted for that week. Please note that Sunday 12:00AM EDT is your deadline and not when I post the "submission's closed" comment on the thread.
- You are allowed to submit as many runs as necessary; you are not just limited to one.
- You are not allowed to use any form of hacks or TAS in your submitted run, doing so will get you banned from participating in any further SOTW events.
- Any form of glitching which wasn't intended by the creator of the level will not be allowed. If you are unsure whether a glitch is allowed or not, feel free to ask me in a thread post or through Discord.
- You are not allowed to involve multiple players in your speedrun. however, you are allowed to have someone spectate you for any assistance purposes such as recording runs.
- In the event of a level with 'Super Flying Cowboy Mode' (SFCM): unless the level uses this mode as a hat remover or if the level specifically requires the use of SFCM, all runs that have this mode enabled must be reset. Any runs that have this mode enabled when it's prohibited will be voided.
- You are only allowed to use up to 195 stat points (Rank 45).
- You are not allowed to use any hats which may affect the time of the speedrun. Hats which you are allowed to use include: Exp Hat, Kong Hat, Party Hat, Jigg Hat and the Jellyfish Hat.
- You are allowed to get the stat advantages from any of the stat blocks around the level.
- Regarding video submissions, only video submissions which have been posted on this thread will be allowed. I will not be accepting any downloadable files as submissions. Please make sure that in your video you are also showing your in-game stats, as well as a clear video on your ending time.

| Atmospheric effect and ATB requirements. |

There is a feature where each layer of art has an atmospheric effect where it takes on the color of the background to an extent. This made an amount of sense when the game first came out, but has been the bane of my existence for my time here. If it could be toggled on or off for levels, or gotten rid of all together without messing up all the previous levels, I would be eternally grateful. For example, on my level Color Blocked, I have front layer the exact same color as a color in the background, but they are completely different colors, and if you look close enough, you can tell. The atmospheric effect also makes it impossible to get vivid colors in layers 2 and 3 especially. With the upgraded color picker, we can manually make this happen pretty easily, but it is a shame that we can't choose to have more vivid colors on those layers.
Another thing i have been thinking about is, what if the requirements for a level to be on the alltime best got lowered. The reason I would like this is that there aren't enough active players to reasonably get a new level there. I have several levels with a good enough rating to be on the ATB, but aren't there because they don't have enough plays or ratings or something. They each have around 700 plays, which I feel is enough. I feel the requirements for a level to make it to ATB are just a bit high considering how many people are actively playing and rating at this point.

So, I'm not going to post a message on the Welcoming board because I've been around on JV for over a decade, so I'm just going to give my reason as to why I basically quit Pr2 back in 2013, and what brought me back, in 2019.
REASON WHY I QUIT
I was basically burned out from being #1 in Pr2 and macroing/simming all the time. Having to leave my CPU on for hours was costing me a massive electric bill (which I could no longer afford anymore), plus my CPU was really crappy back in the day, but now I have a better one: Intel core i9 Windows 10. I decided to go to law school in Fall of 2013, so there's no way in the world I was going to monitor my account to make sure I'm grinding exp pts.
I sold my account (including my alts) to askRYAN for $4k, a month after I reached rank 65 because I saw no need to make any return what so ever at all. Honestly, I don't see why people continue to macro/sim because the game is dead imo. It's just not the same as it was in 2009, and tbh, the rank tokens drive me nuts. My graphics card was horrible, which is why I was only running 70k a WU. That too was also costing me a massive electric bill! So I decided to stop folding for 5th
Now could I return and outrank all these guys? Sure, if I really wanted to. You all have to remember something... I had the upper hand back in 2013, so if I would have felt more energized to continue, guys like Colind would not be #1, I promise you! I allowed FDX3 to pass me because I was burned out. I use to be able to run 8 accounts on 1 server, but my CPU experienced some problems that I could not fix at the time, including major lag issues... YUCK!
ORIGINAL PLANS
When I reached rank 65 on the 6th of July, 2013, my plans were to reach 66 by Sept, 67 by Nov, 63+5 in Dec, 69 by Feb 2014, then 70 on May of 2014, then quit. But with guys like fdx3 catching up, I would have kept on going. I was originally obsessed with being #1, I was concerned when AlphaZ reached rank 60 back in March of 2013, and I just couldn't stand it!
Now check this out, I understand that a lot of y'all who knew me back in the day is probably wondering what rank I would have been if I had continued. Well, here's my prediction list:

Now I understand any objections that you may have about this list, but tbh with you, that's REALITY, if I had continued. That would be a nightmare for a lot of you because from rank 79, it would take 1 billion exp pts to surpass me. I was going to update my graphics card to Geforce NVIDIA or something, so I can at least get 350k a WU, but like I said, my CPU began to develop problems so, that set me back by $2500 that I saved up.
DO I PLAN TO RETURN?
The answer is no. Here's why: I'm only Rank 67 atm, so I would have to put in a lot of work to be #1 again, plus since I'm so far behind that it's not even freaking funny, I would not budge a chance to get back in the game. Not to mention I would have to get my account back from AskRYAN. The money was to fix my computer, but hey, you do what you gotta do.
It would take me YEARS to outrank the top guys at this point. That's time that I cannot afford atm. If I do return, I would reach rank 70 and that's it. Anything beyond that is just pointless. Although I always wondered what it would be like to be Rank 80+.
To clarify, Rank 80 would have been my goal back then, but with guys like Colind, AlphaZ, and fdx3, it would force me to Rank 83 for sure. Anyways, that's all I had to say atm. Don't take it personal because you know it's the TRUTH! Also, I'm not on here trolling or anything, I'm speaking FACTS!

Been playing PR2 since 2008 and was even around when the OG Jiggmin's Village was a thing. No idea why I never decided to join prior to today, but better late than never I suppose!
