So before I left I've had people ask to hear some of my stuff (Looking at you @  ), but back then none of it was done. We've finally got our first song completely finished so I thought I'd let you guys have a little listen. It's a pleasure to be part of this wonderful community again.

I'm trying to get better at coming up with relevant threads that people actually care about. Here lately, I'm seeing quite a few threads that seem to grab y'alls attention right away, enough to reply back. So yeah, what's something that y'all ACTUALLY care about? Maybe I can somehow turn it into an interesting thread that'll grab your attention right away.

That's one of my goals for this year. I have a couple of interesting things in mind, but I don't know if you're actually going to look into it. I figured instead of just coming up with threads off the fly, I'll ask you guys what you would like to see from my future threads. So if anyone has any suggestions at all, let me know below and I'll see what I can do.

We need an option that allows us to be able to edit the Poll whenever a mistake has been made. It's just weird how you only have options to edit your posts and replies, but there's no edit button for being able to change up the number of Poll options, who can see this thread, how long the thread will be active for voting before it's timed out, etc. So @bls1999, if you're following me on this, you should consider it.

This is a brief example of what I mean:

   

Basically if you've made a mistake in your poll (after submitting it), there should be an option under the Poll that says EDIT POLL and the page would redirect you to the above box, allowing you to edit the number of Poll options, edit whether it's public or private voting, allow multiple options, how much time you have left to vote, etc. Because as you know, mistakes aren't attractive and people WILL point them out, eventually!

Also, before you get ready to submit your thread, just like there's a "Preview Post" option, there should be a PREVIEW POLL option at the bottom that allows you to Preview your Poll before you submit it! But this option would only appear if you've clicked on the "I want to post a poll" box. That way, no one's having to rush and come up with answers before someone sees your thread. Because whenever you post a thread, people can see it before you begin throwing in options for your Poll.

   


BONUS: If poll voting closes, or you've made a mistake closing it, and you would like to revive it, then there should be an option to open it back up again. But just like you would need 200 posts to open a thread again, the same terminology would have to apply for opening the Poll voting again.

So yeah, just a suggestion if anyone wants to help spread the word.

So yep, as you can see here, this is way out of range of my normal daily production



First of all, no one else has been folding me, only 1 client within the last 50 days.
I made sure to go downstairs and check my desktop logs to see if anything went wrong overnight, and this is where it gets weird.

Since that 14,602 credits unit, I did complete exactly 6 WUs for an estimate of... guess what 72,060 credits.
For some reason they all decided to appear during the same update, even though they were spread pretty fairly throughout the whole day, and each of them got registered 10x for some reason.

Welcome to Speedrunner of the Week, a contest tailored for the fastest players in Platform Racing 2! We have the racers, the fast racers, and those who are above them all: Speedrunners. Do you have what it takes to become a Speedrunner?

• Each week a new level is given a target time and expert time for contestants to beat. If you complete the target time you get 1 point added onto your total score. If you are super speedy and also manage to complete the expert time you will gain 1 extra point, bringing your total to 2 just from beating the set times.
  
  
• You can also gain points if you place in a podium spot against your competitors: if you set the fastest time that week you will gain 3 points, if you come in with the second fastest time you will get 2 points, and if you set the third fastest time you will get 1 extra point. Make note however, you will only be granted these podium points if you have beaten the target time.
  
  
• Submissions will close on Sunday 12:00AM EDT. Be sure to convert this time into your own timezone if necessary to avoid any late submissions!
  

• Any runs that have been posted after the submission date will not be counted for that week. Please note that Sunday 12:00AM EDT is your deadline and not when I post the "submission's closed" comment on the thread.
  
  
• You are allowed to submit as many runs as necessary; you are not just limited to one.
  
  
• You are not allowed to use any form of hacks or TAS in your submitted run, doing so will get you banned from participating in any further SOTW events.
  
  
• Any form of glitching which wasn't intended by the creator of the level will not be allowed. If you are unsure whether a glitch is allowed or not, feel free to ask me in a thread post or through Discord.
  
  
• You are not allowed to involve multiple players in your speedrun. however, you are allowed to have someone spectate you for any assistance purposes such as recording runs.
  
  
• In the event of a level with 'Super Flying Cowboy Mode' (SFCM): unless the level uses this mode as a hat remover or if the level specifically requires the use of SFCM, all runs that have this mode enabled must be reset. Any runs that have this mode enabled when it's prohibited will be voided.
  
  
• You are only allowed to use up to 195 stat points (Rank 45).
  
  
• You are not allowed to use any hats which may affect the time of the speedrun. Hats which you are allowed to use include: Exp Hat, Kong Hat, Party Hat, Jigg Hat, Thief Hat and the Jellyfish Hat.
  
  
• You are allowed to get the stat advantages from any of the stat blocks around the level.
  
  
• Regarding video submissions, only video submissions which have been posted on this thread will be allowed. I will not be accepting any downloadable files as submissions. Please make sure that in your video you are also showing your in-game stats, as well as a clear video on your ending time.

What's a Community Ambassador?

A Community Ambassador (or "CA") is a special type of community member that is tasked with a few responsibilities, including advising staff on public opinion and having input on decisions that affect the community. Most importantly, however, this person will collect community feedback and relay that to the staff team anonymously, so as to eliminate all elements of bias towards the person giving the feedback.

There are two CAs at any given time; one appointed by the staff team and one elected by the community. The current CAs are:
- Elected: @Stunt
- Appointed: @Camer the Dragon

FAQs

Do CAs have any moderating power?
No. CAs can't moderate or view any privileged information that moderators can (e.g., user information, threads in Contact a Mod, etc.).

How long is a CA's term?
The length of a CA's term is six months. Elections are held over the course of a month twice per year (January/July) to elect the new CA, with the winner taking office on the first of the next month (February/August).

Who is eligible to run for CA?
Anyone who has "Member" status on JV is eligible to run (more information); however, there may be additional guidelines announced when the election starts.

Are there term limits?
CAs may serve a maximum of two consecutive terms in the same CA position. After those two terms, the CA must vacate their position until one term has passed, at which point they can be re-appointed or re-elected to the same position. Alternatively, they can hold the other CA position immediately if appointed/elected to it.
