I'm pretty sure it's something they just updated their contract with so the people who already did VA work are basically forced into it. Idk how it works, and I don't know the legality of it, but the whole thing sounds shady as heck

It's a British sitcom from the 1970s, so I'm not surprised it's unfamiliar to you. I've seen the first 2 episodes so far, and it's hilarious.
