Practically speaking if we were to follow maths and psychology for 1-on-1 behaviour there could be about 250 different basic types of relationships, so figuring out an interaction on the spot during any social event is rough

I haven't studied any high-end psychology so take this with a grain of salt, but if you take what's commonly shared within most popular and accepted theories in human personality traits and cognitive functions, you'll get roughly between either 12 or 20 ways a typical individual will function (which can vary, of course, depending on whether you're meeting someone new or interacting with folks you know on a casual daily basis, or even a deeper relationship, but for the sake of maths, let's keep it simple)

So without caring too much for the details and subtraits, if you take the average, which somehow matches the infamous 16-personality test lol, you'd get an estimate of 16*16=256 ways 2 humans can interact with each other cognitively speaking
