imo if people don't like me, it is what it is. But if you absolutely have to work alongside them and there's no way around it, it's a good idea to have someone else to vent to about it

My mom had a toxic workplace, and the boss was a toxic narcissist too. She'd come home every evening and recount the day's events to my dad. Sometimes I'd listen in... one time the boss ran out of the store and yelled at a customer. People are just crazy .-.

I tend to think of myself as an annoying person too. My cousin told me the very same when I was a preteen, and the words stuck with me for a long while. But I've learned to accept it... it helps me weed out the insincere people from the real ones. 👀
