Please don't use Straight Talk anymore. I used to have them over 10 years ago, and they have pitiful service. The best move I ever made, was going with Mint Mobile. I used to use Virgin mobile before they went out of business, 3 years ago.

Yeah, that's exactly why it gave out on you. For some reason, they don't build cell phones to last over 2-5 years.

Go with Mint Mobile. So far, they've treated me quite well and offered me a discount on my phone plan. I've been a customer since Jan of 2021.
