I am not a tattoo person. I generally associate them with people doing stupid, spontaneous decisions in their late teens/early twenties. However, I am not saying all tattoos are bad, and I appreciate the artwork and meaning behind many. There are a lot that "may" (key word) look cool at that age but may regret when people get older (starting around the fifties). Specifically, there is also the whole meme of getting a tribal tattoo when not even being part of a tribe.

With the cat example, I do not think it is atrocious and the artist did a good job, but definitely goes back to the "may look bad when you are older," opinion (I feel the same with the robotic arm). Again, not being this "anti-tattoo" elitist, just not my type of thing.
