I try to be pretty open minded about stuff, but just because I agree with some things that the government tells us doesn't mean I didn't think. Some people definitely are applying critical thinking and maybe they concluded that doing what the government said was best.
Blindly disagreeing with everything the government tells you is just as bad, if not worse, than blindly believing everything they tell you.
