A general video games section is probably useful.
I'm not a fan of the Jiggy theme and used to have it disabled. Why aren't the default MyBB themes there?
Why a donor-exclusive forum? What would you post there?

And does it make linking to swear words against the rules, even with a warning? Why?

All of this is fixed. Linking to swear words with a warning is permitted.
