Chat message deletion - Mia - 20th July 2024

In PR2, if someone uses an offensive slur or hateful language, the only option for staff is to clear the chat (and ban/warn, of course). It would be nice if PR4 staff had the ability to delete specific chat messages, so other conversations don't get deleted in the process.

Maybe there should be a client-side "/clear" command for chat that any player could use to clear unwanted chat messages from their end. Kind of the same way you can do "/hh" in chat to view the remaining time for the current happy hour. Also, I find it a bit weird how there is a follow button and not a block button. I'm not a big fan of the follow button as it seems like PR2 is trying to emulate twitter/x with some of its updates, but it seems weird to have one without the other.

The ignore button is the block button I think

Oh, I forgot we had that. Just checked, it hides their chat messages as well. My bad, I've never ignored someone so I forgot it even existed. Tongue
