Nobody ever talks about how easy it is to reach Rank 50 nowadays, huh? You newbies have no idea how easy you have it, nowadays. All THESE damn tokens to +8, contests for all THESE BIG reward opportunities up to 10,000,000 experience points, and macroing being allowed... ha! It's no wonder why so many people are leveling up so quickly!

But, man, those opportunities didn't even exist back in the early days of PR2. The DARK SIDE is that you needed to use people as stepping stones to reach Rank 50+ back in the early days of Pr2. You used whatever form of CHEATING that it took to get to Rank 50. You needed some knowledge of Macroing (praying you don't get caught), creating an experience bot, or some kind of edge to catch up to everybody. What do you think would have happened if the above opportunities would have been presented, 14 years ago? It'd be chaos, right?!

Back then, if you were caught leveling up really quickly, then they just called it "macroing". Honestly, they never did consider the fact that somebody might be using an experience bot to level up really quickly as well. But, you see, nobody ever talks about what would have happened today, if all those retired legends would have kept on going, today!

Now, any FOOL or veteran player would know that the reason THIS idea was even suggested and implemented into Pr2, is to prevent cheaters from gaining quick experience points. Mods and admins can't always be around, 24/7. So, if someone sees you ranking up too fast, then all they have to do is record you by hovering their mouse over your rank. It's so obvious why this feature was added.

Let's talk about predictions, shall we? Does the bottom prediction look accurate to you (based on the legendary players from 2008 to early 2010), or do you think they would have gotten caught by now? I ask this because if you were Rank 50+ from 2008 to early 2010, then obviously people think you're doing more than just macroing... they think you're using an experience bot.

Rumor has it that the bot was worth 22,222xp every two minutes, 50,000xp every hour, and 10,000xp added in there, somewhere. Now, I'm not directly accusing anybody of botting, just ask the community from back in the day whether these claims are true or false.

Now, if you were a smart player, then you would avoid leveling up too quickly. You'd come up with an effective strategy to finesse the system and get ahead without getting banned. These ranks below seem pretty preposterous, but these people were smart enough to have an effective strategy. Again, I'm not accusing anybody of botting. I'm just telling you what I heard people say about them botting.

Legendary Parts would be a cosmetic Parts upgrade like Epic Parts, buts flashier! They would be highly coveted, prestigious upgrades obtained only through special means (i.e official contests & the like, NOT purchasable and NOT rewarded in random maps)

While trying to mess around in Photoshop to achieve this effect, I realized... these animated effects are already in PR2 -- You can see them in the Parts Menu! -- and that means all the hard animating work is all done, and all that's left is to code them as playable parts and update the Parts Menu.


Legendary Parts would fill that special niche that Epic Parts were meant to-- as special vanity items for players to earn through hard work & effort, with a unique cosmetic flare to show off to everyone else.  




*PR2 desperately needs new, desirable rewards to incentivize players to start creating new content & playing again, and I see this as one of the best possible effort:reward ratio options.

Just popped on here to let you guys know that I hope you're all doing well <3

HI all, so I guess they want me to say a few words about myself since I'm new to the village. Uhhh... Been playing pr2 on and off since 2011 and since its the best game ever I figured I'd hop on hear and see if I can catch up with the community and catch new updates before they happen. Also I would like to regain the password to an old account but I think that's a seporate thread I'll a have to figure out leater. Anywho, so here I am. Leave your questions below somewhere. Cherio!

October 21, 2009. It was like any other day in middle school. I headed to the computer lab with my friends to play games around lunch time, and my best friend said to me,"You should try this game out." I ended up putting my full name as my username in a lack of effort because I did not anticipate playing this for very long. Well.... I've been wrong before.

A year later after switching between talking to people in the PR2 chatrooms and the chat on Kongregate, my brother who also plays this game told me about this luis16 guy who runs his own PR2 website. It ended up being one of the first PR2 yolasites I would be part of from awesomepr2club, amazingpr2club to team implode. You remember those xat days?

I became inactive for a few years only to return around 2017 and made the switch from xat to discord. Today, I'm not very active at all in this community like I used to be... Life goes on and it's not 2009 and I'm not in middle school.

I'm still active on discord and if you want to reach out to me, I am on the JV and PR2 discords using my PR2 username. I can't believe it has been 14 years, and I would say without PR2 and its community I wouldn't be where I'm at today.
