I just got back from my 2 week trip to Victoria. It was SO good! The MATRIX workshop was awesome, there were lots of great talks and I got to meet a lot of people I'd wanted to talk to for a while (as well as some people I'd never heard of before who were super nice). I also got to discuss some potential side projects in knot theory and fusion categories. It was really fancy too: on top of providing free accommodation, MATRIX provided free all-you-can-eat buffets for breakfast and dinner, with the food provided for dinner changing each night (I got to try kangaroo for the first time - I also saw a lot of wild kangaroos in rural Victoria, as well as an emu). Honestly, the food was somehow a really strong highlight.
On Friday, I got to go to MIKU EXPO!! Here are some videos I recorded. Honestly it was such an incredible time, I desperately want to go to the next one. I hope they hold one in Australia again soon!
Words just can't express how cool this was, I felt the adrenaline for the rest of the night. What I totally didn't expect, but should have in retrospect, was being able to actually feel the music: it reverberated throughout the arena, you could really feel the vibrations of the sound waves hitting you, I've never felt anything like it before. It was just insanely exciting.
Over the weekend, I went caving with a friend (the forest we went to was really cool, huge amount of biodiversity, and we got to see some glowworms), and then we went to Fortress. For those outside of Australia, Fortress is a bar / arcade where you can hire game consoles and play while eating. It's underground and has the interior of a fantasy tavern, very reminiscent of D&D. Super cool, we got to play some Smash Bros. and Mario Party.
Overall, an amazing two weeks, from both a professional and a personal perspective. I'm a bit sad that it's over, I really hope I'll have an excuse to return to Victoria again soon.

Wow wow wow.
I first started playing Platform Racing 3 (DarkDiscpline667) in October of 2010, I first started using JV (DD667, AnthraX, etc) in November of 2011.
I knew of this forum (albeit not my login details), I have played Platform Racing 3 Reborn quite extensively in the past.
I am 25 years old now, I didn't really know where to put this, but I just wanted to say thank you for keeping the memory of Jiggmin alive, and to wish you all the best, even those I butted heads with as teens. Platform Racing was once my everything, and it's heartwarming to know it still means so much to people.
As for me? I graduated university with a Bachelors in English and am now a copywriter, at least until AI takes the position. I picked up a security license, as I've pretty much completed the gym (120kg strict press, e.g.), and am looking to start wrestling and Muay Thai as hobbies. In the future, I will get into a trade.
Rock on, JV'ers.

Listen, one of the most satisfying things to do during lunch time is to sink your teeth into a delicious, scrumptious, mouth-watering, toasted sandwich done right. All your favorite garnishes, condiments, and other toppings on a sandwich to satisfy your stomach! It doesn’t matter whether you’re a carnivore, a vegan, or none of the above… you can still enjoy a sandwich of any kind as long as it meets your expectations. Some people have a favorite fast food chain that they’ll buy a sandwich from, and there are those who enjoy making it from home.
As you can see for me, I love Firehouse subs, man. Just recently, the premium turkey Thanksgiving sandwich caught my attention for sure ? Stuffing, turkey, cranberry sauce, and good ole mayonnaise to kick off a Thanksgiving holiday the right way! Now of course everyone has a different opinion about it, and then there are some of you who don’t even care for sandwiches at all. Either way, it doesn’t matter to me because we’re all different which is something that I always strive to be. To me, $15.99 (plus tax) for a large, Thanksgiving sub is expensive af. But that’s the sacrifice that people are willing to make for the tastiness of the sub that accommodates the quality of it.
The first thing that blew my mind was, why the hell are there not any threads about sandwiches?? ? Well now things are going to be different, thanks to me. Do you guys have any favorite fast food chains, would you rather make your own sandwich from store-bought ingredients to save money, or do you just not care for sandwiches at all? The choice is yours.

For some reason, within the span of a month, a bunch of old members I grew up with on JV have been checking in on this website and saying hi -- perhaps its the universe or its just coincidence
Either way I'm very happy they have. It's nice to see these old usernames from when I was younger, even if I wasn't personally close with some of them. It's nice to know people are still kicking
If you're reading this and we used to play PR2 together or were active on old school JV I hope you're doing well, and seeing your username on my screen brings me a ton of nostalgia, it has me smilin' : )

I used to be quite active trolling on Pr2 and Acid Forums. Good times. Kind of miss the old discussions we used to have on Acid but its good to see a lot of you are still on here. Hope everyone is well.
